Zac getting creative...

Owen has been trying some new things lately and these are some of the results. What a crazy kid!!!!!

We had a little visit from my sister Diana and my nephew Ethan. He is soooo cute! And they had a lot of fun playing together.

Zac has a tendency to put all sorts of crazy things on Owen's head. No wonder Owen is such a daddy's boy! They have a lot of fun together!!!

Teething Troubles...

My poor little boy! He is getting some big teeth and he is not napping or taking his binki. I am very used to at least two naps during the day and it just hasn't been happening the last couple of days. I feel like I am giving him children's tylenol at least once a day and I feel okay about that, but I don't know how long this will last. I forgot how much I enjoy my time to shower and eat and go to the bathroom, and as much I love my son, I think that Zac needs to get home a little quicker today. Wish me luck and I'll keep praying that naps will come and Owen will get better soon. It is so hard to see them hurt and not be able to do much. It makes me grateful that I can comfort him at least a little bit with hugs and kisses. Love that boy!!!! Hoping he gets better soon!

I can't believe that Owen is big enough to do this, but he is actually standing up! He loves to be standing all the time. We built a baracade in our living room with chairs and carseat, but then he would just try to climb over the top of it. (He is really tall). So these are some pictures of him standing up. He is so cute and it is so fun to watch him learn. I hope that he learns how to walk, but not too soon. I can still somewhat contain him and we got a BABYGATE! Whoohooo! We are so excited!!!! Hopefully it will make life a little more stress-free. :)

We went on a final trip for the summer. We went to Jackson and took the tram for some sight seeing. It was really fun to see the beautiful views. Owen did really good, but we had to cover him with a blanket so that he could sleep. He kept reaching his hands out and playing with the hair on Zac's neck. It was really great to get out and have a fun vacation. I could have used a few more like that. We saw some people in gliders and one guy actually asked if anyone wanted to go with him. I bet Zac would have done it, but I think I would have been too wimpy! We had a lot of fun though!

Owen was crawling around one day and his shorts kept falling off and so we decided to have a little fun and put his shorts on his head and we just lost it. It was hilarious! he would try and follow our voice but couldn't see and then he would laugh. He has as much fun as we did. What a hoot!!!! He makes every day exciting. Then, we pulled up the shorts so that we could see his face and the toothy picture is the face we saw.

So, I am pretty sure that I want to have some cute pictures of my hubby and kiddo. They are so fun to watch together and I love them both so much! It's amazing how much you can love your kids, even from the first time you see them and hold them. I feel like being a mom has changed everything about me. I feel like I can love more and I want to see the good more so in everyone because they are all someone's child. What a blessing to have a good family and to be able to be with them everyday. Sometimes I think it's funny that I miss my husband when he is gone for a regular work day, but I think it's just because everything is so much better when we are all together. That is my deep thought for the day. :)
