One beefy post because of all that happened in one beefy weekend

In case you can't tell, Grayce is tickling Owen's toes. He thought these girls were pretty fun!The girls were so funny. They kept telling me that Owen needed pushes. What sweethearts!!!
Big smiles from Grayce.
Believe it or not, he actually wasn't trying to take Maggie's toy. He liked sitting with her.
I thought this was adorable!!!
My sister showed us where Owen could go and feed some nearby sheep. He liked the sheep, but had a little more fun just throwing grass.
The girls were really cute to watch. They got excited when the sheep would eat out of their hands.
It was one big race when we got to a place that the kids could run. Owen loved how fast the girls could run and even kept up pretty well. This made nap time come all the quicker too.
There was a LOT of stuff going on this weekend! On Thursday night I went to my sister's house in Ogden and stayed the night. My baby is all about consistency and kicked me nearly all night (like he usually does) and I didn't sleep a lot. Then in the morning I headed to Lehi to visit my other sister and her cute kiddos. (Pictures above). We went for a walk and fed some sheep and played in the backyard. The kids were so good with Owen and I loved watching them all together. We had so much fun and I was so glad I went. But, by the time I went home, I was exhausted and ready for a break. I decided I would take a long hot bath and just take it easy.

Well, when I went to get out of the tub, I was hurting a lot, but I figured I was just worn out. Then, about half an hour later, I had a contraction. Then a few minutes later I had another one. Well, after about 8 or 9 in a half hour (and they were intense), we decided it was time to go to the hospital. We called a good friend to come and listen for Owen, who was thankfully asleep and we headed to the hospital. After a couple hours worth of monitoring and a shot to stop my fairly consistent contractions, we headed home. I was told to take it easy. So, what did I do? I went the next day to Pocatello for my girls day.

I know that probably sounds crazy, but I thought really hard about it and I was excited to have a day with a slow easy going drive and then a baby-less day with my really good friends. I sat a lot and didn't do hardly anything. It was perfect! We all had such a good time. We caught up and just laughed. Life is so busy and so much happens in just a few months and I was really excited to be there. The only downfall was that Lisa wasn't able to make this one. She is such a blast and it made me miss her. But, I could easily understand her not being able to go. We just need to plan another one after our little ones are born, so that we can have an excuse to see each other again.

So, that's it! That was my insanely crazy weekend last weekend and I have been pacing myself and taking it more easy this week and I can tell it's making a difference. So, here are some pictures from both my day with my sister and my girls day. Enjoy!

Date Night

Zac and I have had soooooo much going on that it has felt nearly impossible to spend a lot of time together and so when we went to Poky this last weekend for my sweet little nephew's baby blessing, we took advantage of some good in-laws that were willing to listen for Owen (at bed time) and let us sneak out for a night to ourselves. First we went bowling and then got some ice cream. (Note to those that are pregnant-do not go bowling when you're prego. I didn't feel the pain right away, but I felt it the next day) Thank goodness it was worth it!!!

This weekend was so great all around, because not only did we get our date, which was so fun, but we got to see lots of family. My new nephew is soooooo cute! I am already in love with this sweet little Morgan. It's really cool too that I've been around when most of my nieces and nephews have been born and so I get to watch them grow up and they are just so sweet.

I really got to thinking this weekend about how lucky I am to not only have a good family, but to really love Zac's family. They seem to make me feel like part of the family from the beginning. They are so easy to talk to and I just love being around them. We are all in very different stages of our lives, but we can always just sit and visit and I love that. We are so blessed! Here are a few more pictures from this weekend.

Learning how to share...kinda

Owen is learning that sometimes daddy has better food than he does and he likes to make sure it gets a taste test. Zac gets a kick out of it and so it is kind of fun to watch. These two make life more fun! That is for sure!!!
