Chocago Days 3 and 4
I know that I'm a little behind, but these are the pictures of our last couple days. We went to the Art Institute (which was amazing). We both liked it a lot more than we thought we would. And then at night we went to the Sky Deck. So incredible! You go up 103 floors and then they have a handful of boxes made of glass that hang over the edge. So, the only thing between you and the ground is a box of glass. It was really cool. I was so grateful to get away for a few days and regroup. And it was even better to spend it with Zac.

Chicago Days 1 and 2
This is the view from our hotel room. It was amazing! I loved looking out while I was reading a book.
We went through a few of the parks on our way to the museum and the aquarium. We had such a good time!!!

A much needed vacation!!
I may need to do this in a few posts, but Zac and I went to Chicago for Zac's training for work and stayed a couple extra days. It was the first time that we have gone on a trip (Just the two of us) outside of Utah or Idaho. We are so grateful to my mom and dad that watched the kids and they did really great while we were gone and so it made things a lot easier on everyone. We had so much fun. And although my feet were killing me at the end of every night, I had a blast!!! More pictures and posts to come.

What a stud!
When we got married, he helped me learn patience and showed me how important it is to help other people no matter what. He always makes me laugh and want to be better. Then, when we started our little family, it became very obvious to me that he was even more amazing! He helped with diapers and baths and took such good care of me as I was trying to get things figured out. He is such a great dad! He loves getting on his hands and knees and playing with them. He constantly says "Come see them do this or that"...he gets so excited when they do something new and encourages them to try new things.
He has listened to me time after time when I need to talk or cry or just get some insight. He has a way of putting me at ease and helping me see the good we have in our lives. He is my best friend and really cares about our family and everyone around him. I am a better person because of him and I count my blessings every day that I am lucky enough to be his eternal companion. I love him more and more every day!
