Finishing up special needs t-ball...
We have been so lucky to live where we live, there are resources all over. We love being a part of new things and trying them out. The boys really liked t-ball, especially the last game. We had a lot of fun and got a good workout. :)

October Conference
This was a special General Conference for me. I decided to take some thoughts and questions to Conference and really try to prepare and I was not disappointed. I loved the Women's Session (because I wasn't chasing kids). I was grateful for the words of the prophet and the challenges that were issued. I am a few days from the end of my Facebook fast, I am in 2nd Nephi with my new reading of the Book of Mormon. It is incredible to me how much of a difference it has made already. The boys did pretty good over all, but we were excited to be done.

Conference
What an incredible Conference! The boys did really good on Saturday, and for the most part, I heard every taught. Talk about your bucket being filled. I had some questions and things that I was praying about as I was preparing for this current Conference, Prayers were answered and the spirit was present. I was grateful to attend the Women's Session as well, the messages were insightful and well prepared. I felt very uplifted. Sunday was a slightly different experience. The boys struggled a bit more (mostly William). I felt that the messages were profound and encouraging, but it was really challenging to keep the same spirit, while Zac and I were having to get up and take care of a number of things every few minutes.
Even with a crazy afternoon, I am so grateful for our inspired leaders, their messages, and the joy that the gospel brings to my life.

Getting Fit
This summer was a pretty crazy one for us. We had a different schedule for the boys which included less therapy at home as well as less summer school. Zac was training for Lotoja (a 206 mile bike race from Logan to Jackson) and I was training for my first half marathon. However, with all that craziness, I ate a lotta bit too much. I have been working hard teaching a fitness class and I love it, but I am finally getting a handle on things. I am not where I want to be, but I am working hard to eat better and take better care of myself. I am far from perfect at it, but I am so grateful for how I feel when I do.
