Fat for a good reason

Yeah! I am finally past the I could be pudgy or pregnant stage and I look a bit more pregnant. I love that feeling when it becomes a little more real and you don't just feel chunky anymore. I have been trying to stick out my belly as much as possible. (Zac thinks that's funny) Anyway, now I am just pregnant looking and I am only about 3.5 months down, but we get to learn the sex of the baby in August and the holidays always go fast, so I think time will fly. I also have a very energetic and love able little one to keep me occupied and busy!

I have to admit that is why I am so excited more than scared to have another one, because I keep thinking of how much I love Owen and how it was just instant and I can't wait to love another little one that much! What a blessing to be a mom and be fat for a good reason!

One Good Man!

Anyone that knows me, knows that one of my favorite things to do is sing the praises of my incredible husband. He is such an amazing husband and father and I am so grateful for the balance he brings to my life. We've recently been going through a very difficult trial and he has been nothing but loving and supportive and understanding. I love that I can talk to him about anything and that he always at least tries to understand. :) He is my best friend and just as amazing father as he is a husband. Before Owen was born, he would say "I wonder what kind of father I'll be" but I already knew. He is such a loving and involved dad. He loves playing with Owen and his favorite thing to do is make him laugh. He loves to teach him new things and Owen loves it too.

I could go on and on and on about the incredible man my husband is, but I will just say I love him so much and I am so grateful that I am lucky enough to be his wife. He and Owen are truly my greatest blessings. Love you Zac! Happy Fathers Day!!!!

One Big Mess

We've been trying to get Owen to get used to silverware and these were the results. What a hoot!

Too Cute!!!!

We went to Pocatello a couple of weeks ago and Owen heard my mom playing the piano (because mommy doesn't have this talent) and was very excited to try it. My mom put him up on her lap and he just had a ball. I think it's pretty easy to see that Owen loves grandma!!!!

We're Pregnant!!!!!

Just a quick post to let you all know that we are pregnant! I am so ready to be done with the first trimester, but we are really excited!!!!! I am due on January 1st. YEAH!

A Great Man

My Grandpa Hanks passed away recently and I am just grateful I was able to see him before he passed away and be with my family during this time. He was always such a good example to all of us. He taught us to be kind and patient as well as loving and forgiving. I feel so lucky to have known him and associate with him.

The funeral service was really beautiful, with my mom and all her sisters talking about the kind of life he led. I was so proud of my mom and how well she handled everything. I am so grateful for the plan of salvation and the amazing blessing that we have to know that he is with my wonderful grandma right now. He was faithful all his life and I am so grateful for the love he showed to me and to all his family. We always knew that grandpa loved all of us.
