He didn't get to them fast enough. Owen loved playing with all the candy bars.
We had so much fun a few weeks ago when we all went to the park on one of the few days it was nice outside. There were so many birds and Owen just loved it. He wanted to walk right into the water. His shoes got a little wet, but it didn't get too far.
We remembered to bring some bread this time and I couldn't believe how close they came to us. Owen was so distracted by all the other birds though.
He is so fun to watch! He just loves seeing everything and was anxious to get up and chase the birds.
These two had a stare down for awhile before Owen starting chasing it.
So, Zac and I both had to teach on Sunday and so the ladies in the Nursery were kind enough to offer to have Owen come in a few weeks early. It sounds like he did pretty good, but when we went to pick him up, he had a large bruise on his cheek. It turns out he got bit pretty hard. He was more than ready for a nap when we got home-rough day! Now it just looks like he got kissed by a little girl with lipstick. It is almost gone now. Thank goodness!
