Owen is 1! I can't believe it!!! We celebrated with my parents and in-laws last Wednesday and so that's why I have pictures. He was so funny! He didn't know what to think of the cake. He didn't like the feel of it on his fingers and didn't eat it like we thought he would. What a cutie though!!!! He has been such a good baby! He is really independant and loves to play on his own and discover things and touch EVERYTHING! What a blessing he has been to us. He is usually sooooo happy and loves to smile and laugh all the time. It makes me so happy, even when I have a rough day. Zac and I both keep saying, how could we love anyone more?

A whole lot of work
So, here are some pictures of our kitchen cabinets. We have been working for over a week to get them finished. Lots of late nights and hard work, but thanks to our family and my amazing husband they are finished, other than putting the doors back on. YEAH!
These are the pictures during phase 2. This was the beginning of last week. We got all the insides done and started on the first coat of stain. It was really exciting at this point because we were finally staining.
These are pictures of the final product...minus the doors. YEAH!
A great birthday!
I had such a fun birthday! It was so crazy!!! On my birthday weekend, I got a wonderful gift from my parents. They came to visit for the a couple of days. We got to play games and have dinner together and I was so excited to have them here and that they got to see how much Owen has grown up lately. They got here on Friday and then Diana and Steve (my sister and brother-law) came up on Saturday and everyone helped us sand and stain our kitchen cabinets and the women went decoration shopping for the house. Thanks to all the help, we got A LOT done and they saved us a lot of time and work we would have had to do on our own. I will add some pictures of the progress. And then, my sweet husband got a scrabble game I've been wanting and my favorite movie of all time, Mr. Holland's Opus, and a gift card. He also was sweet enough to take me out to eat. I feel so loved and grateful for all of my blessings.

New Adventure
I am a brand new Pampered Chef consultant. I am really excited about getting out of the house, having a little extra money and a chance to see all the awesome stuff Pampered Chef has. So if anyone is interested in coming to a show, hosting a show or just ordering products, just let me know. They is also opportunities for anyone to be a consultant too, so if you are interested just let me know. I think my favorite thing about it is just that there is no pressure, no commitment, no forcing anyone to buy anything in order to enjoy it or to make money. I just get to get out and see people and feel like I am accomplishing something. So, just thought I would let everyone know. I am really excited about getting started!

Playing around
Sometimes he is just completely contect to play with a piece of paper and sit in his toy! I love it when he puts his legs up like this too. He is really tall and so I think sometimes he likes to just kick back and relax! What a goofball!!!!
I think he is sooooo cute!!!

Crazy Schedule
We have a busy month or so ahead of us. My birthday is coming up next Sunday and Owen will be ONE, two weeks later! I can't believe that I am going to have a baby that old. He is starting to look so grown up. Well, then 2 weeks later is our 4 year anniversary and then a week later is Christmas. It makes me a little excited though because Zac is required to be romantic 3 times a year and they are all pretty close together. (My birthday, our anniversary and Valentines day). I think that's why I love December so much! :) Zac is pretty excited to help Owen eat his birthday cake in a couple of weeks. He loves anything he can get his hands on! Let's just hope that Zac will volunteer to clean that up. So, I am really looking forward to the next couple of months and I am already ready to get out the decorations and Christmas music!

Halloween Pictures
What a great weekend! We got to go to Pocatello to visit mom and dad and my sisters and their kids. They were so cute! Here are some of the pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes. We had to wake Owen up from a nap for these pictures and so that is why he looks so unhappy. (I hope). We went to a trunk or treat at my parent's stake house. It was fun to see people we know and visit with our fam. The kids were so fun and helped hand out candy. I think we were all ready for a nap when we got back. But we had a ball!
